Sailing through the Waddenzee we land on shore too. We just picked the best Rosehips (rozenbottels) ever in Borkum (island of Germany). Holy! They looked like small tomatoes! We love to nibble on them walking around enjoying Sea shore nature.
Mind you, nibble on the juicy super healthy outside just till you gets to its centre.
You really do not want to eat the seeds and small hairs in the middle because that might give you a scratchy feeling on your bottoms end after a visit to the bathroom!
We also throw them in the blender to make icecream:
- Half a hand Rosehip’s skin and flesh (measured after, so without the hairs and seeds),
- a handful of frozen strawberries from Grandfather Ad’s garden,
- and one banana.
- Add a bit of coco water to make it blend easier.
Put the result in ice cream makers, freeze and enjoy! Super healthy ice cream so I would take two, just saying. Will show picture of ice cream later, promise!
